Rural Proofing - ARCHIVED
We will try to include articles relevant to the embedding of rural aspirations into a mainstreamed Government policy framework. This basically means that all Govnerment Departments are supposed to consider and assess the effects of their policies on rural (smaller towns and communities often separated). One of major tasks of Defra is to implement this across Government as they are no longer specifically delivering many aspects of Government policy.
